Invitation
Dear Colleagues,
It is a great honor for me to invite you to Wroclaw, for the Second International Congress of Polish Society of Robotic Surgery and the First Polish-Italian Symposium of Robotic Surgery.
The Congress Program is co-created with the European Institute of Oncology in Milan - leading center for Robotics Surgery in Oncology. To participate in the meeting there were also invited specialists in robotic surgery from Europe and the United States.
The main objective of the Congress is to present the latest standards for the use of Da Vinci Surgical Robot in surgery, oncology, urology, gynecology and laryngology. The Congress will give us a chance to discuss about funding opportunities for robotics surgery procedures in Europe and Poland. I hope, that the meeting will be an opportunity to strengthen cooperation and the possibility of promoting robotics procedures in our country.
Wroclaw is an open, friendly and hospitable city. It is a magical place. Above all, it is a city which is very closely related to Polish and European history of surgery. Poland´s first robotic operations were performed in Wroclaw in 2010.
For the second time Wroclaw becomes a place for dissemination of surgical robotics in Poland. I wish that the Second International Congress of Polish Society of Robotic Surgery in Wroclaw and Polish-Italian Symposium of Robotic Surgery will stay long in the memory of Participants - not only because of the high scientific level, but also through impressions of socializing and walking around the city of twelve islands and more than a hundred bridges - called "Polish Venice".
