Any time a child requires a hospital visit, it can cause anxiety for both a parent and the child. This especially may be the case when the visit involves any type of surgery procedure, medical imaging and certain tests that might require anesthesia. Since the Helsinki Declaration was stayed to provide a focus for improvements in the safety of patients care in anesthesiology and related medical fields of perioperative care, our responsibility for quality in Anesthesia, Intensive Care, Emergency Medicine and Pain Medicine is even higher. It is more important for pediatric anesthesiologists and they made a decision about the initiative Safetots, the Safe Anesthesia For Every Tot, which addresses the teaching, training education and supervision of the safe conduct of pediatric anesthesia. The safety of young patients will be the main topic of the XVIII Symposium of the Section of Pediatric Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy which is being held in October 6th-8th in Opalenica.
It is our great pleasure and honor to invite you there.
